Welcome back students!
I am excited for another great year at Mountain View Elementary. Look for new guidance curriculum lessons from the counseling department, referred to as Mountain View's "Scholarly Ways." The Principal and I have thought very hard about how to build school community and we feel the guidance curriculum lessons will help to do that. You will be seeing new posters pop-up throughout the school introducing Mountain View's "Scholarly Ways." These themes will be taught monthly by myself, and teachers, on subjects like RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, HARD WORK, CIVILITY, HONESTY, TOLERANCE, AND COMMITMENT. I look forward to getting your feedback, students, as we move through the themes.
